Broadpeak and Youcast have partnered to strengthen video streaming delivery across Brazil, expanding Broadpeak’s CDN as a Service (CDNaaS) with seven new local points of presence, known as HyperPoPs.
The partnership combines complementary expertise: Broadpeak provides the video-optimized CDN software and operates the service, while Youcast supplies the physical infrastructure, including servers and connectivity across Brazil.
By deploying CDN capacity within local ISP networks, content can be delivered closer to viewers, helping streaming providers reduce latency, improve service availability, and optimize delivery costs. This translates into a better quality of experience for viewers.
Together, Broadpeak and Youcast are building a more distributed video delivery infrastructure in Brazil, with the potential for future growth across Latin America.
